Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: DEPTH TO BEDROCK IS 7 TO 20 FEET. GRAVEL IS CLASSIFIED AS MEDIUM TO FINE; VERY LITTLE CLAY PRESENT. SEDIMENTARY BEDROCK IS TIGHT AND RATHER SOFT.
Comment (Location): IN THE SOUTHERN PART, AND EXTENDING ALMOST ACROSS IT IS THE WHITNEY VALLEY WITH BURNT RIVER FLOWING THROUGH IT.
