Comments
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE OCCURS AS SMALL SCATTERED LENS-SHAPED BODIES IN GRANODIORITE GNEISS. ORE BODIES ARE IRREGULAR AND DISCONTINUOUS, USUALLY LESS THAN 10 FT. LONG, AND 6 INCHES TO 3 FT. WIDE. THE CONTACT WITH GNEISS IS SHARP, WITH ORE ENCASED IN A THIN SELVEDGE OF CREAM COLORED LIME CARBONATE. THE ORE IS MAINLY PSILOMELANE WITH CALCITE, AND POSSIBLY SOME PYROLUSITE.
