Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE OCCURS IN THIN CHERT BEDS INTERBEDDED WITH SANDSTONE. ORE BODIES ARE POCKETS AND LENSES IN MANGANIFEROUS CHERT, AND THE AREA IS CUT BY NUMEROUS FAULTS. ORE IS SILICEOUS MANGANESE OXIDES. THIN QUARTZ VEINS ENCLOSE POCKETS OF MANGANESE OXIDE MIXED WITH RUSTY COLORED LEECHED CHERT. ORE IS CUT BY THIN VEINS OF BROWN CARBONATE IN PLACES.
