Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE OCCURS IN THIN-BEDDED RED, BROWN, GREEN, AND WHITE CHERT, BEDS AVERAGING 2 INCHES IN THICKNESS. CHERT BODY IS 225 FT. LONG. THE ORE BED IS 1 TO 6 FT. THICK, FAIRLY CONTINUOUS. SOME HIGH GRADE ORE IS CONCENTRATED IN FRACTURES, AND THE REMAINDER OF THE ORE IS MANGANIFEROUS CHERT. THERE IS A CONCENTRATION OF HIGH GRADE ORE NEAR THE CREST OF THE ANTICLINE, WHERE THE BED IS 2 FT. THICK.
