Comments
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE IS EXPOSED FOR 54 FT., TRENDING S. E., DIPPING 50 TO 65 N. E., WITH AVERAGE WIDTH OF 6 FT. AND MAXIMUM OF 11 FT. THE HANGING WALL IS SHALY CHERT, AND THE FOOTWALL IS MASSIVE CHERT, WHICH SUGGESTS THE DEPOSIT MAY BE OVERTURNED. A LARGE MASS OF SERPENTINE LIES 100 YARDS TO THE W., AND A SMALL GREENSTONE INTRUSION IS BETWEEN THE ORE BODY AND THE SERPENTINE. ORE BODY AND WALL ROCKS ARE CUT BY NUMEROUS QUARTZ VEINS.
