Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SHORT ORE LENS OCCURS IN AND NEAR THE CENTER OF A SHARP CRUMPLE IN A BED OF PLATY RED, WEATHERED CHERT, OVERLYING SANDSTONE, AND SERPENTINE. THE OUTCROP LENGTH OF ORE IS 80 FT., FACES AVERAGE 2 1/2 FT., AND SHOW MASSIVE OXIDE ORE, WITH A HOMOGENEOUS SUBMETALLIC LUSTRE, IN GANGUE MATERIAL. THE STRIKES ARE NW TO W TO SW, THE FOLD PLUNGING ABOUT 30 N. ORE LENS OCCURS IN OXIAL REGION OF SHARP ANTICLINAL CRUMPLE.
