SIDE OF VEIN IS MOSTLY PYROLUSITE, REST IS QUARTZ. QUARTZ ALSO STAINED WITH LIMONITE AND HEMATITE. VEIN IN HIGHLY ALTERED GRANITIC ROCK. LESS ALTERED ROCKS IN VICINITY HAVE COMPOSITION CLOSE TO BIOTITE GRANODIORITE.
