Comment (Location): LOCATED IN NE 1/4 SECTION 31

Comment (Commodity): NO SAMPLE TAKEN.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: 20 ACRES UNDERLAIN BY SAXONITE, AN ULTRAMAFIC ROCK COMPOSED OF OLIVINE AND ORTHORHOMBIC PYROXENE. SAXONITE IS CAPPED LOCALLY, ESPECIALLY ON RIDGE TOPS BY A MANTLE OF DEEP REDDISH-BROWN ROCKY LATERITE, WHICH IS VARIABLE IN DEPTH, AND MAY BE AS MUCH AS 10 FT. THICK. LATERITE WAS DERIVED FROM UNDERLYING SAXONITE, BUT WAS NOT SAMPLED FOR NICKEL ANALYSES.
