IS UNDERLAIN PRINCIPALLY BY WEHRLITE, A MEDIUM-GRAINED ULTRAMAFIC ROCK COMPOSED OF PYROXENE AND OLIVINE. 40 ACRES OF ISOLATED PATCHES OF DARK REDDISH-BROWN LATERITE, UNKNOWN DEPTH, LIE UPON THE ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS, AND IS SAID TO BE WEAKLY NICKELIFEROUS.
