Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Analytical Data
Analytical Data: 4 SAMPLES OF LIMONITE SHOWED 50 - 130 PPM CU, 90 - 270 PPM ZN AND NO LEAD.
Materials
Ore: Limonite
Comments
Comment (Commodity): COPPER AND ZINC BUT NO LEAD IN LIMONITE. THE PYRITE FOUND ON THE DUMP OF THE NORTHERNMOST ADIT IN SEC. 4 IS THE ONLY SULFIDE MINERAL SEEN IN THE AREA.
Comment (Deposit): GOSSAN PROMINENT
Comment (Workings): THIS AREA EMBRACES A GROUP OF ADITS AND PITS, IT PROBABLY INCLUDES TWO PROSPECTS FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE DE DALLIS AND BRUSHY CANYON PROSPECTS.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY SHALE AND MUDSTONE INTERBEDDED WITH QUARTZ KERATOPHYE FLOWS AND TUFF OF THE BULLY HILL RHYOLITE. THESE ROCKS ARE STRONGLY SILICIFIED AND CONTAIN LENSES OF RED AND BROWN LIMONITE.
Comment (Deposit): OWING TO THE ABUNDANCE OF LIMONITE AND THE INTENSELY SILICIFIED ROCK, THE AREA NW OF BRUSHY CANYON MUST BE REGARDED AS AT LEAST MODERATELY FAVORABLE GROUND FOR PROSPECTING AT DEPTH.
