Comment (Development): REMAINS OF A WASHING AND CONCENTRATING PLANT WERE IN PLACE IN 1965,AND IN 1981. TEST SHIPMENTS WERE MADE IN THE EARLY 1960'S. GORCO GARNET ABRASIVES CO. CONSTRUCTED THE PLANT IN 1963 AND HAD PLANS TO MINE THE FULL WIDTH OF THE HAMPTON CREEK CHANNEL TO BEDROCK.
