Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): SE 1/4, UTM ACC
Comment (Deposit): TACTITE IS OBSERVED ALONG THE CONTACT AND ESPECIALLY ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE PENDANT.
Comment (Workings): TWO EXPLORATORY ADITS, ONE CROSSCUT ACCESS ADIT, TWO GLORY HOLES, AN OPEN CUT, AND STOPES FROM THE UPPER WORKINGS CONNECTED BY RAISES.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: LIMESTONE IS MASSIVELY BEDDED, STRIKES N10 TO 35W, DIPS 22 TO 30S AND IS IN CONTACT WITH A MEDIUM GRAINED HORNBLENDE-BIOTITE GRANODIORITE-SLIVERS OF FINE-GRAINED SCHISTOSE HORNBLENDE-QTZ. DIORITE ARE FOUND AT PLACES ALONG SHEARED CONTACT. A SMALL METAMORPHIC BODY COMPLETELY SILICATED LIES JUST NORTH OF LIMESTONE PENDANT. THIS BODY IS ROUGHLY DIVIDED LONGITUDINALLY INTO TWO MINERALOGICAL ASSEMBLAGES WITH A GARNET-EPIDOTE TACTITE ON NE SIDE AND DIOPSIDE-WOLLASTONITE ROCK ON SW SIDE.
