MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comment (Deposit): THIS SERIES OF WORKINGS EXPLORES A MINERALIZED QUARTZ-RICH SHEAR ZONE: IN HORNBLEND DIORITE HOST ROCK. PRESENT IN THE QUARTZ WAS A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF AZURITE AND MALACHITE WITH MINOR LIMONITE AND PYRITE. GOLD AND SILVER MAY BE PRESENT. ADIT #1 INTERSECTS THE MAIN SHAFT VIA A RAISE AND STOPING AREA. THE STOPE AND RAISE PRODUCED APPROX. 108 CUBIC YARDS OF MATERIAL. WITH AN AVERAGE OF 60% DILUTION BY HOST ROCK, ACTUAL RE MATERIAL REMOVED IS APPROX. 43 CUBIC YARDS. ADIT #2 WAS DRIVEN 40' TO EXPLORE FOR CONTINUATION OF SHEAR ZONE. A 1 FOOT QUARTZ VEIN WAS INTERSECTED AT 371/2. IT'S STRIKE OF N 45 E INDICATES IT IS A SEPARATE VEIN OR A POSSIBLE OFF SHOOT. ADIT #3 WAS DRIVEN TO THE NORTH AND ACROSS A SMALL STREAM CHANNEL OR WASH. IT INTERSECTED A SHEAR ZONE WITH SIMILAR ATTITUDES TO THE MAIN COMPLEX. THE SHEAR ZONE RANGES FROM 6"TO 2.5 THICK. A 21' WINZE WAS DRIVEN TO EXPLORE DOWN DIP EXTENSION OF VEIN. VEIN MATERIAL WAS MAINLY QUARTZ WITH LIMONITE. ORE FROM THIS MINE COMPLEX WAS HAULED

Comment (Workings): STOPED AREA BELOW GLORY HOLE CAVED-IT IS 54'LONG ON THE SURFACE, APPROX 9' WIDE AVERAGE. ONE OPENING FROM UNDERGROUND STOPE IS 2' HIGH BY3' WIDE AND FULL OF MUCK. TOTAL VOLUME REMOVED IS UNCERTAIN. CAVED SHAFT TO NORTH WAS PROBABLE ACCESS.
