Comment (Development): LISTED AS ACTIVE UNDERGROUND SILVER MINE IN 1980 EMPLOYING 4 PERSONS. CONSOLIDATED SPANISH BELT SILVER MINING CO INCORPORATED IN 1916.10CLAIMS (2 PATENTED) OVER 175 ACRES.. STILL ACTIVE IN 1981-1983, BUT INACTIVE IN 1984 AND 1985 WHEN EXAMINED.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF THE 1,500 FT BARCELONA ADIT. DEEP TRENCHING

Comment (Geology): ORE IS IN FISSURE VEINS CONSISTING OF BANDED QUARTZ WITH LENSES 1-20 FT WIDE AND 50-500 FT LONG. MOLYBDENITE IS DISSEMINATED LOCALLY IN QUARTZ VEINS.
