Comment (Geology): ORE IN TWO LODES, ONE 10 INCH, STRIKING N40E, DIPPING 35 NW, CONSISTING OF THREE SUBPARALLEL SLIPS WITH INTERVENING FRACTURED QUARTZITE; THE OTHER N40E, 35 SE, AVERAGING 10 INCHES WIDE.
Comment (Production): SORTED ORE FROM THE SURFACE OF THESE VEINS IS SAID TO HAVE CARRIED FROM $30 TO $80 A TON IN GOLD. PANNINGS OF THE ORE FROM THE VEINS GIVE MORE CONCENTRATES THAN ORE FROM ANY OF THE OTHER VEINS IN THE DISTRICT.
