Comment (Deposit): VEIN PARALLELS THE APRIL FOOL VEIN. STOPES AND SHAFTS EXPLORE THE N20E, 70 NW QUARTZ VEIN IN THE QUARTZITES. THE VEIN CONSISTS OF QUARTZ-CEMENTED QUARTZITE BRECCIA. THE FOOTWALL OF THE VEIN FORMS A BOLD RESISTANT OUTCROP TRACEABLE FOR 1000 TO 1500 FT. THE SHEAR (SIC) ROCK FACE IS SILICIFIED AND IRON STAINED AND SHOWS QUARTZ VEINS AND QUARTZ-CEMENTED BRECCIA ZONES WHICH CONTAIN ANGULAR FRAGMENTS OF QUARTZITE. THE MINED PORTION OF THE BRECCIA ZONE HAS A RUBBLY OR BOULDERY APPEARANCE. BRECCIA ZONE APPEARS TO BE TRUNCATED AT N END BY A FAULT RUNNING UP DELAMAR CANYON. DUMP ROCK CONSISTS MAINLY OF QUARTZITE AND QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL, BUT SOME SILTSTONE IS ALSO PRESENT. WHITE COMB AND PRISMATIC QUARTZ ENCRUST QUARTZITE AND MICACEOUS GREEN SILTSTONE FRAGMENTS. THE BRECCIA SHOWS OPEN (EUHEDRAL) QUARTZ-FILLED VUGS BETWEEN FRAGMENTS. SOME VUGS ARE FILLED WITH CLAY AND IRON OXIDES. SOME VEIN MATERIAL CONTAINS MINOR PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, COPPER OXIDES, TETRAHEDRITE ?, WHITE BARITE (ROCKS VERY

Comment (Deposit): DENSE) AND GOSSANY PORTIONS.

Comment (Workings): PRODUCTIVE VEIN EXPLORED ON 3 CLOSELY SPACED LEVELS. WINZE, SMALL STOPE. WINZE, SMALL STOPE.

Comment (Location): ON SOUTH SIDE OF THE WASH ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1982) (1982)

Comment (Reserve-Resource): THE SURFACE EXPOSURES AND UNDERGROUND WORKINGS SHOW EXTENSIVE BRECCIATION AND MINERALIZATION, AND CALLAGHAN SUGGESTS THAT THE CLAIM WARRANTS MORE EXTENSIVE PROSPECTING AND DEVELOPMENT THAN IT HAD RECEIVED BY 1937

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1983.

Comment (Geology): ORE IS IN CHERTY QUARTZ VEIN 6 INCHES WIDE AND NARROW QUARTZ STRINGERS. ORE SHOOT WAS 90 FEET LONG IN THE TUNNEL AND THEN PITCHES NORTH. THE NORTHERN PART OF THE VEIN TERMINATED AGAINST A GROUP OF FRACTURES CONTAINING EAST WEST DIKES. A SECOND ORE VEIN HAS BEARING N 22 E, 63 W. HORN SILVER WAS FOUND ON FRACTURE SURFACES.
