Comment (Location): ABOUT 0.5 MILE NW OF ELLENDALE MINE. ACCESSIBLE BY FAIR ROAD FROM MCKINNEY TANKS ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Deposit): VEIN EXPLORED BY A 50-FT INCLINE FOLLOWING THE DIP SLOPE. FAULT-CONTROLLED VEIN IS ABOUT 4 FT THICK AT THE SURFACE AND IT HAS ALTERED, SILICIFIED RHYOLITE IN THE FOOTWALL AND ANDESITE IN THE HANGING WALL. QUARTZ FORMS STRINGERS IN THE VEIN. MINERALIZATION INCLUDES VISIBLE PYRITE, MINOR COPPER, AND SULFIDES. THE SHEAR IS STRONGLY BLEACHED AND MN-STAINED.
Comment (Workings): OLD UNTIMBERED INCLINE, DRILL HOLES
Comment (Development): AREA HAS BEEN DRILLED WITHIN THE PAST 5 YEARS BUT THERE IS NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF INVESTIGATION IN 1985
