Comment (Geology): SCHEELITE-BEARING AREAS OCCUR IN METAMORPHOSED LIMESTONE RIBS ALTERED TO TACTITE, RIBS VARY 2 TO 4 FT. IN THICKNESS. THE SCHEELITE IS DISSEMINATED WITHIN THE TACTITE.

Comment (Deposit): FIRST LOCATED IN 1914 AND SEARCHED FOR GOLD THEN ABANDONED. RELOCATED IN 1949. IN 1952 TWO TRUCK LOADS OF ORE WERE MINED AND HAULED TO THE TOY MILL FOR TESTING PURPOSES. WORK ON PROPERTY STARTED IN 1953 BUT AMOUNT OF ORE EVENTUALLY PRODUCED IS NOT KNOWN. PROPERTY IS DEVELOPED BY A 30 FT. ADIT, 100-FT. CROSS ADIT, AND SEVERAL CUTS AND PITS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
