Comments

Comment (Deposit): LOCATED ALONG SOUTHEASTERN MARGIN OF A LARGE GRANODIORITE STOCK. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV

Comment (Location): N TRINITY CANYON, ACCESSIBLE VIA POOR ROADS UP STREAM-FLOODED CHANNEL.

Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS ARE ALONG A SHEAR ZONE IN A N-TRENDNG STRUCTURE THAT IS HIGHLY ALTERED AND BRECCIATED, SILICIFIED AND IRON-STAINED, INCLUDING SOME OF THE COUNTRY ROCK OR FRESH GRANITE. SAMPLE 2828 IS OF ORE ZONE MATERIAL THAT FILLS THE SHEAR AS IN A FISSURE FILLING.

Comment (Workings): CAVED ADIT, SOME PROSPECTS, ALL VERY OLD.

Comment (Geology): SHEAR ZONE MINERALIZATION IS CHARACTERIZED BY A PINCH AND SWELL TYPE OF STRUCTURE THAT DEFINE PODS OF SHEARED AND BRECCIATED STRONGLY ALTERED GRANODIORITE, 2 TO 4 FEET WIDE AND ABOUT 10 FEET IN DIAMETER.
