Comments

Comment (Development): IDLE SINCE 1918

Comment (Geology): PERIDOTITE LIES BETWEEN GABBRO AND DIORITE MASSES AND IS NEAR METAVOLCANIC AND METASEDIMENTARY ROCKS. A FAULT STRIKING N70E AND DIPPING 50NW OFFSETS ONE GROUP OF ORE BODIES. THE DEPOSIT IS NEAR THE SOUTH END OF THE OPHIOLITE, WHICH IS ABOUT 6 KM WIDE AND EXTENDS FOR 40 KM TO THE NORTHWEST

Comment (Location): ON SOUTH SIDE OF RIDGE NORTH OF DRY (DEER?) CREEK

Comment (Production): A LITTLE ORE MAY ALSO HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN 1915

Comment (Deposit): ORE LENSES OCCUR IN THREE GROUPS OF ORE BODIES IN SHEARED ROCK. ORE IS MASSIVE AND DISSEMINATED.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS COMPRISED OF TWO LARGE OPEN CUTS (100 X 10 X 5 FT AND 60 X 30 X 15 FT), GLORY HOLE (45 X 10 X 20 FT), SEVERAL SMALLER CUTS, AN ADIT, AND SOME CAVED TUNNELS
