Comments

Comment (Workings): THE WORKINGS EXPLORE NORTHWEST-TRENDING VEINS IN OR NEAR THE BORDER OF A DACITE INTRUSIVE BODY THAT CUTS SILICIC TUFFS. THE VEINS CONSIST LARGELY OF QUARTZ VEINS WHOSE WIDTH VARIES FROM 1 TO 40 FEET. SOME OF THE VEINS PINCH OUT UPWARD AND DO NOT CROP OUT; MOST PINCH OUT: OR BECAME BARREN DOWNWARD. THE MOST PRODUCTIVE VEINS WERE THE NEVADA HILLS VEIN AND THE EAGLE VEIN. (WILLDEN AND SPEED, P 73) SCHRADER (1947) GIVES AN EXTRAORDINARILY DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THIS DEPOSIT.

Comment (Geology): THREE OR MORE PERIODS OF MINERALIZATION HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED
