Comment (Workings): MINE IS DEVELOPED ON SHEAR ZONES IN A RHYODACITE TO QUARTZ LATITE WEAKLY WELDED TUFF. THE MINE CONSISTS OF A 250-FOOT ADIT, A WINZE LESS THAN 100 FEET DEEP, AND SUBSIDIARY WORKINGS. THE SHEAR ZONE IN THE ADIT IS ABOUT 3 1/2 FEET WIDE, WITH THE STRONGEST CRUSHING OF ROCK ON THE FOOTWALL. SOME OF THE OXIDIZED AND BRECCIATED MATERIAL IN THE SHEAR ZONE REPORTEDLY PANNED WELL IN FREE GOLD, (BUT SAMPLES COLLECTED BY WILLDEN AND SPEED CONTAINED 0.11, 0.59 AND 1.11 PPM GOLD AND 3, 7, AND 5 PPM SILVER (WILLDEN AND SPEED, P 74)
