Comment (Workings): FIRST LOCATED AS PHOENIX CLAIM IN "EARLY DAYS", 1919-ERA OWNERS CLAIMED "SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS PRODUCED FROM MINE. ACCORDING TO CARPER, P 2, "THE PROPERTY IS TRAVERSED BY A WIDE BELT OF PORPHYRY OR HIGHLY ALTERED SILICIFIED RHYOLITE, THE COUNTRY ROCK BEING A FINE-GRAINED ANDESITE. THE ORE BEING ON UNDEFINED BUNCH IN THE PORPHYRY WITH NO HANGING WALL OR FOOT WALL THAT WAS DEFINABLE".
