Comment (Workings): AUTUNITE (?) AND AN UNIDENTIFIED YELLOW URANIUM OCCUR WITH CARBONACEOUS MATERIAL AT THE BASE OF THE HARTFORD HILL RHYOLITE. THE CARBONACEOUS MATERIAL IS DISCONTINOUS, AND THICKNESS VARIES FROM A FEW INCHES TO OVER SIX FEET. MINERALIZATION IN THE BED CAN BE TRACED FOR ABOUT ONE QUARTER MILE. THE BEDS DIP 30 DEG TO 35 DEG SW. (GARSIDE, P103)
