ROCKS IN VEIN ZONE ARE SILICIFIED AND CUT BY VEINLETS OF VUGGY QUARTZ. DISSEM PYRITE OCCURS IN VEINLETS AND WALL ROCKS. MANGANESE OXIDES COAT FRACTURES. THIS AREA IS WITHIN A LARGE BLOCK OF PATENTED MINING CLAIMS ORGINALLY PATENTED BY THE BAY STATE NEVADA GOLD MINING CO.
