Comment (Workings): VEIN PRODUCED CONSIDERABLE PART OF THE TONNAGE MINED IN 1918-20 AND OVER 9000 TONS OF 1935 PRODUCTION. RAPIDAN VEIN STRIKES AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THE COMO, IS REACHED BY A LONG BRANCH OF THE BOYLE TUNNEL. RAPIDAN IS THOROUGHLY OXIDIZED DOWN TO A POINT 170 FEET BELOW THE BOYLE TUNNEL VEIN ON BOYLE LEVEL FOUND TO CONSIST MAINLY OF CLAY WITH A SPRINKLING OF QUARTZ LENSES.
