Note: the land ownership field only identifies whether the area the mine is in is generally on public lands like Forest Service or BLM land, or if it is in an area that is generally private property. It does not definitively identify property status, nor does it indicate claim status or whether an area is open to prospecting. Always respect private property.

Comment (Deposit): NBMG SAMPLE # 4291 OF THE LIMITED REMAINING SKARN SHOWED GOOD VISIBLE SCHEELITE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
Comment (Workings): SEVERAL CAVED ADITS, DOZER-CUTS, PITS & TRENCHES. TUNGSTEN ORE BODIES OCCUR IN FRACTURE ZONES ALONG FAULTS OF SMALL DISPLACEMENT WHICH CUT META-SEDIMENTARY ROCKS. SCHEELITE, THE ORE MINERAL, OCCURS DISSEMINATED IN SKARN. THE RUTH CONSISTS OF TWO SHORT ADITS FROM WHICH A BLOCK OF ORE 50 FEET LONG, 6 FEET HIGH, 15 FEET WIDE WAS MINED THAT AVERAGED 0.4-0.5% WO3. FOUR PITS 1000 FEET NORTH OF MAIN WORKINGS SHOW MINERALIZATION IN 3 OF THEM THAT MAY AVERAGE 0.1-0.2 PERCENT WO3. (JOHNSON & BENSON, 1963, P. 76). DOZING HAD NOT EXPOSED ANY NEW ORE-BODIES.
Comment (Geology): SCHEELITE IS DISSEMINATED IN SKARN & SILICATED LIMESTONE BEDS 2 TO 6 FT. THICK, NEAR THE GRANITE CONTACT.
Comment (Development): ECON.COM: LESS THAN $10,000 FROM 400 TONS. (QUADE, 1989)
