Comment (Deposit): VEIN AT CONTACT OF RHYOLITE DIKE WITH QUARTZ LATITE
Comment (Deposit): THE DEPOSITS OCCUR MAINLY IN A LODE ON THE CONTACT OF A 90-FOOT WIDE THYOLITIC DIKE WITH COUNTRY ROCK QUARTZ LATITE. THE DEPOSITS OCCUR MOSTLY IN THE FOOTWALL RHYOLITE. THE GANGUE IS LARGELY JASPEROID REPLACEMENT QUARTZ STAINED REDDISH WITH HEMATITE. THE LODE DIPS 60NE AND CROPPINGS EXTEND THROUGH A VERTICAL RANGE OF SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET. THE OPENINGS ARE A TUNNEL, CUTS, TRENCHES, AND TEST HOLES. SOME ASSAYS ARE SAID TO HAVE YIELDED 30 OZ SILVER AND $170 GOLD TO THE TON. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
