Comments

Comment (Development): WORKED IN EARLY 1900'S, WITH OLD TAILINGS FROM THIS ERA IN A SMALL WASH EAST OF THE SHAFT. NO ACTIVITY IN 1984.

Comment (Workings): SEVERAL PITS AND SHALLOW SHAFTS, ONE OF WHICH IS SHOWN ON THE TOPO MAP. BULLDOZING IN THE LAST FEW YEARS AND A VER-Y SMALL-SCALE ATTEMPT TO BATCH LEACH SOME ORE, PROBABLY FOR PR-ECIOUS METALS.

Comment (Deposit): MALACHITE AND AZURITE ALONG FAULTS THAT STRIKE NW AND N-S IN CHERT AND GREENSTONE ASSOCIATED WITH QUARTZ MONZONITE PORPHYRY INTRUSIVES ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 3 FIELD OBSERV

Comment (Deposit): OXIDE COPPER MINERALS AND IRON AND MN OXIDES OCCUR ALONG A PROBABLE SHEAR ZONE IN GREENSTONE AND CHERT OF THE PUMP-ERNICKEL OR HAVALLAH FMS. SIMILAR MINERALIZATION IS PRESENT IN- A POSSIBLE LOW-ANGLE NORTH-TRENDING FAULT ZONE IN A SMALL PIT- SW OF THE MAIN SHAFT. LITTLE OBVIOUS HYDROTHERMAL ALTERATION;- THE GREENSTONE MAY BE LOCALLY ARGILLIZED.
