QUARTZ VEIN MATTER - WITH LESSER CALCITE (PARTLY LATER THAN QUARTZ) IN THE ZONE CO-NTAINS PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, AND LIMONITE, MALACHITE AND RARE -AZURITE. THE QUARTZ VEIN MATTER IS MILKY WITH LOCAL COCKADE ST-RUCTURE. Comment (Geology): OXIDIZED AND SULFIDE COPPER MINERALS OCCUR IN A SERIES OF AT LEAST THREE VEINS FROM 4 TO 7 FEET WIDE WITH A GENERAL NORTH AND SOUTH STRIKE AND DIPPING FROM 50 TO 80 DEGREES EAST. THE GANGUE IS PRINCIPALLY QUARTZ, CALCITE, AND COUNTRY ROCK.
