Comment (Development): PROSPECTED IN EARLY 1940'S; DUMP MATERIAL SHIPPED IN 1940'S RAN 20 OZ./TON AG. MINOR PRODUCTION, JUDGING FROM SMALL TAILINGS PILE IN WASH. NO ACTIVITY HERE IN 1984, BUT A BULLDOZER IS LEVELLI-NG AN AREA OF ALLUVIUM 0.5 KM TO THE WEST, POSSIBLY FOR SOME S-ORT OF TEST HEAP LEACH PAD FOR PREBLE ORE. ALSO, THERE ARE REC-ENT DRILL HOLES 0.2-0.3 KM WEST OF THE OLD WORKINGS (FRAG CLAI-MS).

Comment (Workings): 5-6 SHORT ADITS, ALL PROBABLY 5-50 M LONG. APPARENTLY A SMALL MILL WAS LOCATED IN THE WASH BELOW THE WORKINGS AS T-HERE ARE A FEW HUNDRED CUBIC METERS OF TAILINGS.

Comment (Deposit): NEW DISCOVERY REPORTED FROM THE OSGOOD RANGE, SILVER LODE CLAIMS (4) LOCATED BY F. R. O'LEARY, JACK S. KIRWIN, LOCATED AT S END OF EDEN VALLEY ON WESTERN SLOPE OF OSGOOD RANGE. PROPERTY PROSPECT IN EARLY 1940'S, 60' WINZES SUNK FROM THE OF DRIFT, DRIFTING DONE ALONG VEIN AND 2 40' WINZES SUNK FROM ENDS OF DRIFTS, PODS OF SCHEELITE ENCOUNTERED IN VEIN MATERIAL FROM WINZE. DUMP MATERIAL FROM EARLY WORK SHIPPED IN 1940'S, 20 OZ AG ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV; 5 PERS COMM

Comment (Deposit): MASSIVE WHITE TO CLEAR QUARTZ VEIN FOLLOWING A LOW-ANGLE THRUST FAULT THAT SEPARATES BROWN-WEATHERING DOLOMITE IN -THE LOWER PLATE FROM MEDIUM-GRAY LIMESTONE IN THE UPPER PLATE.- THE FOOTWALL JUST BELOW THE VEIN IS HIGHLY CONTORTED GRAY PHY-LLITE. THERE ARE NUMEROUS 0.5 CM WIDE VEINLETS OF CALCITE IN T-HE UPPER PLATE LIMESTONE. QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL IS COMMONLY STA-INED WITH IRON OXIDE MINERALS.
