Comments
Comment (Geology): MINERALIZATION OCCURED BETWEEN THE PRE-MINERAL FAULT AND THE SPRINGER STOCK CONTACT THE HUMBOLDT BED HAS BEEN OFFSET AND MOVED ALONGSIDE ITSELF IN THE SPRINGER MINE SEGMENT OF THIS BED.
Comment (Workings): THE SPRINGER MINE WAS ORIGINALLY A SEPARATE MINE WITH A SHAFT EXTENDING DOWN 300 FT LATER IT WAS CONNECTED TO THE HUMBOLDT MINE BY MEANS OF A CROSSCUT AND A SHORT RAISE. OPEN PITS IN 1950'S
Comment (Development): IN THE 1950'S, SOME MINING WAS DONE BY OPEN PITS ON THE OUTCROP OF THE SPRINGER BED ALONG THE WESTERN SLOPE OF SPR-INGER HILL. THE SPRINGER ORE SHOOT WAS STOPED FROM THE SURFACE-TO THE 1100 LEVEL OF THE MINE, A VERTICAL DEPTH OF 1080 FT.
Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZATION OCCURS BETWEEN THE PRE-MINERAL FAULT AND THE SPRINGER STOCK CONTACT.
Comment (Deposit): THE SPRINGER MINE WAS ORIGINALLY A SEPARATE MINE WITH A SHAFT EXTENDING DOWN 300 FT. LATER ON THE SPRINGER MINE WAS CONNECTED TO THE HUMBOLDT MINE BY MEANS OF A CROSSCUT AND A SHORT RAISE. ALL OPERATIONS FROM THE SPRINGER MINE WAS CARRIED ON THROUGH THE NUMBOLDT FROM THEN ON. THE SPRINGER MINE IS LOCATED ON THE SAME BELT AS THE HUMBOLDT, CODD, STANK, YELLOW SCHEELITE, KEYES, GEORGE, WORKINGS. THE SPRINGER AND HUMBOLDT MINES ARE ON THE SAME BED THAT WAS OFFSET. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
Comment (Production): AFTER PROPERTY CONSOLIDATION IN 1925, PRODUCTION WAS INCLUDED WITH THAT OF THE HUMBOLDT MINE.
