Comments

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF THE KEYSER TUNNEL, LOWER MAGNOLIA ADIT, UPPER MAGNOLIA ADIT.

Comment (Geology): THE VEIN IS EXTENSIVELY SEGMENTED BY MINOR NORTH TO NORTHWEST STRIKING NORMAL FAULTS. MT AIRY VEIN MAY BE A FAULTED SEGMENT OF THE MAGNOLIA VEIN. N TO NW-STRIKING NORMAL FAULTS SEGMENT VEINS WITH SOME RIGHT LATERAL DISPLACEMENT.

Comment (Location): UNSURVEYED TOWNSHIP AND RANGE

Comment (Production): $462,972 WAS PRODUCED BETWEEN 1865 TO 1940 IN SILVER, GOLD, AND LEAD. ABOUT 45 TONS WERE SHIPPED IN 1936 DURING THE VASSAR LEASE, CONTAINING A MINIMUM OF 0.115 OZ/TON AU AND 71.85 TO 84.8 OZ/TON AG (THIS CAME FROM BELOW THE KEYSER TUNNEL). IN 1950 A SUBLEVEL BETWEEN LOWER AND UPPER MAGNOLIA PRODUCED A RETURN OF 44300 LB (DRY WT) ASSAYING 0.02 OZ/TON AU AND 22.5 OZ/TON AG.

Comment (Deposit): ORE IS FRACTURE FILLINGS 1 IN TO SEVERAL FT WIDE. HIGH-GRADE ORES OCCUR IN VERTICAL SHOOTS
