Comment (Deposit): FISSURES ARE FILLED WITH BARREN QUARTZ OR COMMONLY WITH MANGANESE-QUARTZ VEINS. MANGANESE COMMONLY OCCURS AS BLACK COATINGS ON SHEAR SURFACES, AND QUARTZ IS VUGGY, FORMING SEAMS TO A FEW INCHES,AND BUNDLES OF SEAMS TO 5 FEET THICK.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF PITS AND SHAFTS.SOUTHERN SHAFT IS 20 FT. DEEP. OTHER SHAFTS ARE INCLINED ALONG THE SHEAR ZONE.
