Comment (Deposit): PARALLEL AND BRANCHING VEINS CONVERGE AND CROSS IN A 400-FT WIDE VEIN ZONE. NOS 1 AND 2 SOUTH VEINS,SILVER VEIN, GOLD HILL VEIN, VOLCANO VEIN, NORTH VEIN.
Comment (Development): PROPERTY CONSISTS OF ABOUT 14 CLAIMS COVERING 238 ACRES. IN 1930 TONOPAH MINING CO. AND TONOPAH BELMONT DEVELOPMENT CO PURCHASED AND EXPLORED THE GROUND. THEY SANK A 500-FT SHAFT AND BUILT A MILL THAT PRODUCED $770,000 FROM 94500 TONS ORE FROM 1930 TO 1933. T.F. COLE PURCHASED IT IN 1934, AFTER WHICH LESSEES PRODUCED $217000 FROM 1934 TO 1951.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF THE 900 FT GOLD HILL SHAFT, THE 300 FT TOQUIMA SHAFT AND 3840 FT OF LATERAL WORKINGS IN 1931, WITH OTHER WORKINGS AS WELL.
