Comments
Comment (Location): UTM PRECISION 1000 M
Comment (Deposit): PODS, VEINLETS AND CRYSTALS OF STIBNITE OCCUR WHERE A SHEAR ZONE INTERSECTS LIMESTONE.
Comment (Geology): PODS, VEINLETS AND INDIVIDAUL CRYSTALS OF STIBNITE OCCUR IN A SHEER ZONE WHICH CUTS THE LIMESTONE. WHITE, YELLOW AND GREEN ANTIMONY OXIDES OCCUR NEAR THE SURFACE. THE CARBONATE HAS BEEN SILICIFIED AROUND SHEAR ZONE AND FORMS A PROMINENT OUTCROP.
Comment (Deposit): THE PROPERTY IS ON THE NORTHWEST SLOPE OF SURPRISE PEAK 1/2 MILE WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE OSWEGO MINE. SEE LAWRENCE (1963) P. 73 FOR GEOLOGIC MAP OF THE PROSPECT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
