Comment (Production): OVER 500,000 TONS ORE PRODUCED

Comment (Development): WORKED FROM 1873 TO 1906

Comment (Geology): ORE OCCURS AS IRREGULAR REPLACEMENT BODIES ALONG THE ELDORADO DOLOMITE. THE ORE IS IN THE UPPER PLATE OF THE RUBY HILL THRUST AT THE INTERSECTION WITH THE RUBY HILL NORMAL FAULT (N40W).

Comment (Location): UTM PRECISION 500 M

Comment (Deposit): THE PROPERTY WAS WORKED FROM 1873 TO 1906 AND OVER 500,000 TONS OF ORE WAS PRODUCED. THE PROPERTY CONTAINS THE CHAMPION & BUCKEYE CLAIMS N THE SOUTH SIDE OF RUBY HILL, THE RICHEST OF FIVE MINERALIZED BLOCKS IN THE DISTRICT. THE EUREKA CONSOLIDATED COMPANY NOW OWNS NUMEROUS OLD MINES AND PROSPECTS THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT AND THEREFORE NO LOCATION IS LISTED. WATER IS FOUND AT 2500 FEET. SULFIDE ORE IS LOCATED BELOW THE WATER ZONE IN 5 BELTS OR CLUSTERS; NONE ARE FOUND BELOW THE RUBY HILL THRUST. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
