Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): UTM LOCATION APPROXIMATE
Comment (Deposit): PODS IN QUARTZ VEIN
Comment (Workings): 2 BULLDOZER CUTS, 2 PITS
Comment (Geology): TWO QUARTZ VEINS CUT GRANITE. ONE VEIN STRIKES N55E AND DIPS 75 DEGREES NW, HAS AN AVERAGE WIDTH OF 1 FT. AND IS EXPOSED ON THE SURFACE FOR 250 FT. THIS VEIN CONTAINS A POD OF PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, GALENA, LIMONITE, QUARTZ, AND COPPER OXIDES, AND HAS THE HIGHEST RADIOACTIVITY ON THE NORTHWEST WILLY CLAIMS. THE SECOND VEIN STRIKES N85E AND DIPS 70SE, AVERAGES 3 FT. IN WIDTH AND CAN BE TRACED FOR 300 FT. IT IS COMPOSED OF QUARTZ WITH A LITTLE GREEN-COPPER STAIN AT ONE PLACE
Comment (Deposit): LOCATED IN 1950. MINE DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF TWO BULLDOZER CUTS AND TWO PROSPECT PITS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
