Comment (Geology): ORE OCCURS IN A 7-FT THICK BED OF INTERMIXED MN-OXIDES AND SILICATE. MN ORE IS IN PODS 2-7 FT. THICK AND UP TO 40 FT. LONG, PARALLEL TO BEDDING.
Comment (Deposit): LENSES OF MN ORE DEPOSITED CONTEMPORANEOUSLY WITH THE ENCLOSING SEDIMENTARY BEDS.. THIS PROSPECT IS OFTEN LISTED WITH THE MN DEPOSITS OF THE BLACK DIABLO DISTRICT IN PERSHING COUNTY, ACROSS PUMPE-RNICKEL VALLEY TO THE SOUTHWEST. THE DEPOSITS ARE SIMILAR IN N-ATURE.
