Comments

Comment (Workings): SHALLOW PITS

Comment (Geology): GEOL.COM: AT WEST END, MN-OXIDE VEINLETS OCCUR ALONG A LEDGE IN A 40-FT WIDE ZONE; ONE CLAIM HAS A 5-FT WIDE VEIN.

Comment (Deposit): DEVELOPED BY SHALLOW PITS. MANGANIFEROUS OUTCROPS ARE DISTRIBUTED ALONG AN AREA A MILE WIDE AND 2 MILES LONG FROM E. TO W.PROBABLY NOT THE SAME AS BLACK DIABLO MINE, AS SUGGESTED BY JOHNSON IN NBMG BULL 89. THESE CLAIMS ARE LOCATED ON T-HE WEST SLOPE OF BUFFALO MOUNTAIN WITH ELEVATIONS RISING FROM -WEST TO EAST, WHILE BLACK DIABLO MINE IS ON THE EAST SLOPE OF -THE SONOMA RANGE ACROSS THE PUMPERNICKEL VALLEY

Comment (Location): W. SLOPE OF BUFFALO RANGE. PROBABLY NOT FAR FROM BLACK TOP AND BLACK HAWK PROSPECTS, WHOSE DESCRIPTIONS ARE SIMILAR, AND BOTH ARE LOCATED O-N BUFFALO MOUNTAIN

Comment (Deposit): MN-RICH AREAS DISTRIBUTED IN A 2 MILE-BY-ONE MILE AREA.
