Comments

Comment (Geology): THE OXIDIZED ORE EXTENDED TO 50 TO 100 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE. MANY VEINS WERE BARREN NEAR THE SURFACE.

Comment (Deposit): A NUMBER OF MINES IN THE YANKEE BLADE AREA WERE WORKED IN 1863, AND SOME WERE PRODUCTIVE AS EARLY AS 1865. AS THE EARLY MILLS INCLUDED NO PROVISION FOR FREEING SILVER IN SULFIDES, THEY PROVED INEFFICIENT AS ORE CAME FROM DEPTH. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT

Comment (Production): PRODUCED BETWEEN $5,000 TO $100,000.

Comment (Deposit): RETICULATE VEIN PATTERN WITH ORE SHOOTS GENERALLY LESS THAN 100 FT LONG.
