Comments
Comment (Location): AT LAPHAM CANYON, EAST FORK WALKER RIVER
Comment (Development): CONSISTS OF 3 CLAIMS
Comment (Deposit): GRANITE IS CRUSHED FOR DISTANCE OF ABOUT 3 FEET ON HANGING WALL SIDE OF FAULT PLANE, AND THE VEIN LIES DIRECTLY AGAINST THE FAULT PLANE, AND VARIES IN WIDTH FROM 1-2 FEET. ON NORTH END THE VEIN DIES OUT ON ONE BRANCH OF THE FAULT AND A NARROW STREAK TURNS OFF INTO EAST WALL. SOUTH THE VEIN HAS AVERAGE WIDTH OF 1.5 FEET CUTTING OUT ENTIRELY IN ONE PLACE, BUT SHOWING AGAIN IN FACE OF DRIFT.
Comment (Workings): 50 FOOT SHAFT AND SHORT DRIFT ON THE VEIN, A TUNNEL INTERSECTING VEIN BELOW THE SHAFT AT A DEPTH OF ABOUT 120 FEET, WITH A DRIFT ON THE VEIN ABOUT 400 FEET IN LENGTH.
