OLD INJUN VEIN CROPS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN NEAR THE CREST.THE ALTOGETHER VEIN CROPS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SOME PROMINENT GRANITE CLIFFS ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
Comment (Deposit): SMALL ORE BODIES OCCUR IN E-W FAULT FISSURES FILLED WITH LIMONITE, TALC, QUARTZ. THERE ARE FOUR DISTINCT, NEARLY PARALLEL VEIN: THE SPANISH, OLD INJUN AND ALTOGETHER VEINS DIP TO THE SOUTH. THE NORTH STAR VEIN DIPS TO THE NORTH AND IS OF A DIFFERENT CHARACTER THAN THE OTHER THREE VEINS IN THAT IT IS A SULFIDE VEIN CARRYING SOME GALENA WITH AG VALUES.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF 16 TUNNELS AND ONE SHAFT: 2 TUNNELS ON SPANISH VEIN, 6 ON OLD INJUN VEIN, 6 TUNNELS ON THE ALTOGETHER VEIN, 2 TUNNELS ON THE NORTH STAR AND AN INCLINE SHAFT 150 FEET DEEP. TUNNELS RANGE IN LENGTH FROM 35 T/ 850 FEET, MOST ARE NOW CAVED IN.
