Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Geology): THE DEPOSIT IS IN PART CAPPED BY LATER FLOWS OF BIOTITE RHYOLITE. THERE IS CONSIDERABLE FAULTING ALONG THE GRANITIC-LIMESTONE CONTACT ZONE.
Comment (Deposit): A 70-FOOT TACTITE ZONE OF DARK SILICEOUS BRECCIATED LODE MATERIAL LIES BETWEEN GRANITIC ROCK ON SOUTH AND ALTERED CRYSTALLINE LIMESTONE ON NORTH. OXIDIZED ORE OCCURS AS DEEP AS THE SHAFT WITH COPPER CARBONATES IN HEAVY LIMONITIC GOSSAN. CHRYSOCOLLA, MALACHITE, AND AZURITE OCCUR AS SMALL VEINLETS AND FILMS BETWEEN THE FRAGMENTS OF BRECCIA. A FEW POCKETS OF CUPRITE CAN BE FOUND, AND HEMATITE IS ABUNDANT.
Comment (Workings): 1,000 FOOT SHAFT AND UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS.
Comment (Production): SMALL SHIPMENT IN 1916.
