Comment (Deposit): THE DISTRICT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1869; LEAD, COPPER, SILVER ORES WERE SHIPPED DURING 1871, AND AGAIN IN 1917-1919. THE MINE IS LOCATED IN UPPER LONG CANON, ON THE EAST WALL OF THE STEEP CANON. THE PROPERTY IS DEVELOPED BY A SHAFT AND ADIT INTO CAMBRIAN LIMESTONES. THE ORE MINERALS OCCUR IN QUARTE-CALCITE VEINS UP TO 5' WIDE WHICH STRIKE NW, DIP SW. PRESENT (1979) ACTIVITY CONSISTS OF ROAD MAINTENANCE, UPKEEP.
