Comments

Comment (Deposit): SILVER BEARING PB-CU DEPOSITS WERE FIRST DISCOVERED IN 1862. EARLIEST PRODUCTIONWAS DURING 1886-87. IN 1963 THE AREA WAS CORE DRILLED BUT NO ORE WAS FOUND MINERAL SURVEY 1720.

Comment (Production): ORE GRADE AVE. 10% PB, 4% CU, 19 OZ/T AG AND 0.2% AU

Comment (Deposit): VEIN/FAULT ZONES ADJACENT TO IGNEOUS CONTACTS. LEAD-COPPER-SILVER-ORE OCCURS AS SMALL LENSES AND PODS ALONG THE THREE SETS OF FAULTS.

Comment (Workings): ORE SHOOTS MINED TO A DEPTH OF 275 FT.

Comment (Geology): LIMESTONE OF CAMBRIAN AGE IS TILTED SOUTHWARD AND INTRUDED BY A STOCK AND BY DIKES OF QUARTZ MONZONITE. ADJACENT TO THE STOCK THE LIMESTONES ARE MARBLEIZED AND SILICIFIED. ALL ROCK TYPES ARE CUT BY FAULTS WHICH DIP STEEPLY NORTH, EAST, OR WEST. PB-CU-AG ORES OCCURR AS SMALL LENSES AND PODS ALONG THE THREE SETS OF FAULTS. IN THE MORNING STAR MINE. THEY WERE AS MUCH AS 50 FEET LONG & WERE MINED TO ADEPTH OF 275 FT.

Comment (Development): EARLIEST PRODUCTION WAS 1886-1887. IN 1963, THE AREA WAS CORE-DRILLED BUT NO OREWAS FOUND. FEE, PATENTED CLAIM
