Comments
Comment (Geology): LIMESTONE OF CAMBRIAN AGE IS INTRUDED BY QUARTZ MONZONITE FAULTS WHICH DIP STEEPLY TO THE NORTH, EAST, AND WEST BUT ALL ROCK TYPES. PB-CU-AG-AU ORES OCCUR AS SMALL LEVER AND PODS ALONG THE THREE FAULT SETS.
Comment (Workings): THE DOTY TUNNEL WAS EXTEND TO ABOUT 600 FT. IN 1948. THE AREA WAS CORE-DRILLED IN 19638 BUT NO ORE WAS FOUND.
Comment (Deposit): THE AREA WAS MINED FOR PB-CU-AG-AU FROM 1909-1914, 1917, 1930, AND FINALLY FROM 1940-1945. IN 1948 THE DOTY TUNNEL WAS EXTENDED TO ABOUT 600 FT. IN 1963 THE AREA WAS CORE DRILLED BUT NO ORE WAS FOUND. MINERAL SURVEY 1721 CONSISTS OF DOTTY, IDA LULL AND CARRIE MARIA CLAIMS ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
