Comment (Location): ON SOUTH SIDE OF JEFFERSON CANYON JUST UPSTREAM OF RUINS OF JEFFERSON TOWNSITE ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Production): THE MINE PRODUCED OVER $3 MILLION IN ITS FIRST 18 MONTHS OF PRODUCTION. PRODUCTION WAS SPORADIC FOR OVER 50 YEARS

Comment (Development): SIERRA NEVADA, OR KANROHAT VEIN. A MILL WAS CONSTRUCTED ON THIS PROPERTY IN 1909 BY NEW YORK PEOPLE, BUT SHUT DOWN BECAUSE OF LITIGATION. S. H. BRADY & CO. RECONSTRUCTED THE MILL AND EQUIPPED IT FOR FLOTATION IN 1917 PRODUCING SOME FLOTATION CONCENTRATE CONTAINING AU AND AG IN 1918. BUT THE MILL PROVED UNSUCCESSFUL. ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY THE ELSA MINING CO. IN 1927-1928 ALSO FAILED. C. J. KANROHAT WORKED HIS PROPERTY FROM 1876 TO 1926
