Comments
Comment (Development): PARTIALLY CAVED SHAFT = 20-30FT DEEP (?) WITH TIMBERED FRAME AROUND COLLAR.
Comment (Geology): SHAFT IS SUNK IN BLACK TO BROWN SILTY SHALES (PILOT FM?) JUST W OF A RESISTANT RIDGE OF JSP BRX. THE SHALES ARE OXIDIZED (LIMONITIC) & HAVE CALCITE COATINGS & MN DENTRITS ON PARTINGS. 30FT EAST OF SHAFT IS RED COLORED JSP BRX CONTAINING SILICIFIED CLASTS OF GREY LIMESTONE. THE JSP BODY STRIKES = N-S & CONTINUES ACROSS SMALL DRAINAGE NORTH OF SHAFT. JSP SHOWS ABUNDANT SLICK & SLIDES. SMALL PROSPECT IN LIMESTONE SE OF SHAFT
