Comments

Comment (Development): 4 OR 5 LEVELS OF DRILL ROADS COVER HILL SIDE IN AREA OF PROSPECT SHOWN ON MAP. NUMEROUS DRILL HOLES. ONE SMALL OPEN PIT MINE BELOW ROADS.

Comment (Geology): SMALL OPEN PIT MINE EXPLORES HIGHLY OXIDIZED & HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED ZONE IN VERY FINE GRAINED DARK GREY, BASALTIC-ANDESITE. THE UPPER PART OF THE PIT IS ELONGATE IN A FINE-GRAINED MAFIC VOLCANIC ROCK, BUT THE LOWER PART INTERCEPTS A COARSE-GRAINED HIGHLY ALTERED VOLCANIC OR POSSIBLY AN INTRUSIVE DIKE. THE UPPER LEVELS OF THE PIT IS INTENSLY ALTERED (ABUNDANT LIMONITE, HEMATITE, GEOTHITE) CUT BY NUMEROUS WHITE VEINS COMPOSED OF CALCITE & TALC. VEINS CUT THE ROCK ALONG BEDDING.
